Join me in this relaxing workshop, where you will give a second life to waste fabrics by creating a stunning lavender and flaxseed eye pillow - perfect for yoga or resting dry tired eyes.<\/h3>
About this workshop<\/h3>
You will be led through hand-stitching techniques to join patched fabrics into an eye pillow design. You will add personalisation to your project by exploring some embroidery techniques to decorate your fabric before you make your eye pillow. Choose to fill your creation with flaxseed only or flaxseed and lavender for a soft sent. Fabrics will be supplied however if you have a fabric/old top/cushion that you love but is no longer suited for its purpose then bring that along to make your creation even more special!<\/h3>

This is a non-teaching project space but I will be there throughout in case of issues or technical support needed.<\/p>
Project blocks are designed for folks with experience of screen printing on fabric: have undertaken a previous course with myself or another textile printer, are a designer or student/graduate of a textiles printer course etc. Therefore are not suitable for beginners. Folks new or not confident in exploring projects on their own should see my other workshops and 1-2-1s here<\/a>.<\/p>
Come with ideas or make it up as you go, the space is yours to explore your ideas. I can’t wait to see what you create!<\/p>
At Deemouth Artist Studios there’s free carpark for visitors and a bus stop near by. Please note my studio is on the first floor.<\/p>
The first 30mins of the first session will be an introduction to the space and health and safety overview. <\/p>
